Facing constant battles...

Though, another poisonous dart is thrown at the Saint, who is respected athlete and battler, so to speak. In 1904, when he was still the Headmaster of the Rizarios School he had received an oral building permit in order to proceed with the establishment of the Monastery. Despite that, some people question the legality of the Monastery now. On top of it all, he is made to go through a string of interrogations. Enraged people approach him. They threaten him, they brutally insult him, without respecting his ministry, neither his age.

Saint Nektarios forgives and loves everyone. The difficulties and the slanders fortify him with more patience, with more intensive fasting, with essential studying, with ceaseless prayers and with more God-inspired writing.
